Grant's Halloween Party!

Such a blessing that Grant was born on October 28th!  We always always get to have a Halloween party to celebrate his birthday!  It is a tradition that I love.  I also love that Grandma plans out all the games and activities and I'm only in charge of the spooky dinner and dessert! Win-win!  This year was as fun as always!  The kids played Halloween Bingo, candy corn toss, searched for ghosts in the backyard and then solved a fun word scramble that read "HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANT".   We put together "boo treats" to ding dong ditch;  the children each picked one friend.  You can probably guess who Anna picked (Nora).  Dane picked his friend from carpool- Andy;  Grant picked our big buddy Jacob (he's a senior in high school, but Grant believes him to be hist best friend because he plays soccer with him whenever he sees him!  Evelyn picked our family friend, Sameen.  It was so cute-- Sameen treats her so kindly, and so even though she's technically my friend, Ev feels she is her special friend too:)  For dinner, Grant chose steak (OF COURSE!), corn on the cob, caesar salad, and cupcakes for dessert.  After all the festivities, Grandma and Grandpa left and then a few minutes later, we heard our doorbell ring!  Grandma and Grandpa had ding dong ditched us!  And left us all sorts of yummy Rocky Mountain Factory chocolates and carmel apples.  So fun!  And such a special night celebrating Grant B. Marston.
