My Dad is officially retired! He's worked so hard his whole life and it's wonderful to see him relax a little and enjoy time away from the office and the heavy physical/mental demands of his job! This visit was so special with my parents because they are considering snow birding down here in San Diego. I wanted them to feel that it would be the PERFECT place to be from January till March EVERY year! And I think mission accomplished:) We enjoyed spending the days together at the beach, at the boys' soccer practices; doing the Saturday thing-- basketball games! We enjoyed a harbor cruise and stroll along La Jolla Dr. Loved going out to dinner sans kids one night and watching movies together as a family. Anna especially loved Disney's Frozen on Ice!!!! I was so grateful as always for all of their help getting children to various places! So grateful to my mom for working on piano practice, homework, baking, helping with school lunches and family dinner, getting Anna dressed each morning. So grateful to my dad for the endless hours he spent outside playing soccer with the boys! Such a treat. I love my Mom and Dad so much and can hardly wait to have them around more!
