I love Evelyn's little projects or baking adventures. She always has a plan... that's for sure. We have time to practice piano and work on cub scouts. We have time to sleep in (sometimes) and watch a movie together! We always go out to lunch. It is just a great day of the week. One of my favorite parts of the day is watching the boys basketball games. Both the boys enjoy basketball just like their daddy. Grant is probably a little more of a fan than Dane, but it is a fun time for both. I'm proud of Dane for his eagerness to jump in and go for it. He is playing on a team of great players who mostly play travel ball and who know exactly what they are doing. He is just getting used to the fact that you can steal and foul. He is getting the hang of it! Grant is loving every second. He is a leader as he's been playing since he was 4! Most of the kids are just starting out (it's a kindergarten league). Grant is good to pass and good to cheer his team on. He's got a great shot because he practices all the time. I love watching my boys play every sport they enjoy because they are the absolutely awesome in this mom's eyes:)
This past Saturday we had Grandma and Grandpa down for the day. It was so fun to have them with us for the games and Grandma even made soup for dinner- yay! We are lucky to have them live close enough that we can spend these special days together.
