Grant's Halloween Party

Grant turned EIGHT this month!   We are so excited for our sweet little boy to be baptized-- can hardly wait!  And just really can't believe he's getting so darned old.  We celebrated our guy a few different times-- just because it's such an important birthday!  First we had a fun Halloween night with a few family friends-- he loved playing games and opening presents and eating donuts for dessert!  We had chili, mummy wrap, painted pumpkins and played soccer for hours.  The perfect night for Grant.  The next weekend, we celebrated Grant by just having a fun little family party with Grandma.  It's a tradition!  Halloween party, and ding dong ditching.  Loved playing new Halloween games with whipped cream and cheetos!  Loved putting together our ding dong ditch surprises and laughing about years passed when the kids left Grandma to do the door bell ring and the running. We did a Mr. Bones photo contest to see who could come up with the most clever pose with our skeleton.  It was a pretty fun night.  And then of course on Grant's actual birthday, he was able to spend the night with Grandma and Grandpa and have the most wonderful day ever of pancake eating, soccer game, cupcakes AT the soccer game, shopping and rock climbing.  I'd say Grant was celebrated all right!  Grant's gifts this year included an art set and ice cream maker from Grammy and Papa, and a smart watch from Mom and Dad.
