Geraldine is Blake's grandmother. She is such a special lady and so important to us. This past week, she flew across the country- from LA to New York- just to spend a few days with our family. That is no small feat! We are so appreciative of her and all that she does for us. First and foremost, we believe that Evelyn inherited her beautiful red hair from her great-grandmother! We thank her for that. But more importantly, we admire and appreciate her example of hard work, loyalty to family and friends, compassion and selflessness, and love of life and learning.
We had such a fantastic time with Geraldine. We walked all over the state! We stayed up late! We rode subways, ferries and taxis. Geraldine was such a trooper... no word of complaint. We love you Geraldine. Thank you so much for your sacrifices to be with us.
