After our backyard party, Christy and I had fun plans of our own- that did not include the little ones. We dressed up in our Halloween costumes and headed into the city for the broadway show- Young Frankenstein. It was an amazing sight to behold-- Manhattan on Halloween. Truly, I have NEVER in my life seen so many adults in costumes. And really interesting costumes at that. Christy had really wanted to go to Young Frankenstein on Halloween night, she claimed, so that we could dress up. Of course, I thought she just meant dress up in our nice clothing. But, she wanted to attend the show in costume. It was a cute idea- which actually scored us an upgrade on our balcony tickets. The men at the counter booth saw us all dressed up- laughed, and then moved us to the 3rd row orchestra. It was amazing. We loved the show. Afterwards, people -watching was the highlight of the night. I came to the conclusion that a lot of crazy people live in New York City.
