The sweetest boy ever arrived October 28th at 1:33 in the morning. He weighed 6 pounds, 14 ounces and measured 18 ½ inches long. The delivery went very smoothly—all things considered. It was definitely a different experience in the hospital, but because I’m so grateful to have my boy here safely, all the little details have already been forgotten.
It was challenging to bring Grant home to my two sick kiddos! Both Evelyn and Dane had the flu last week and it’s lingered into this week. They want so much to touch and kiss and handle baby Grant, and obviously, that’s not possible at the moment. It’s sad!
Our neighbors and friends have made this time very special for us with signs, meals, gifts. My mom is here helping our family and I don’t know what we’d do without her!
Grant is a perfect little baby thus far. He sleeps and eats well. He is so adorable. Evy and Dane are truly thrilled-- despite the looks on their faces in the picture below. We all love him so much and we feel so blessed to have him here!
