We took the kids to the American Museum of Natural History yesterday—and it was seriously funny. They ADORE the movie “Night at the Museum” which was based on certain exhibits here at the AMNH. They’ve seen the movie a thousand times and so when they walked in the front doors to find “Rexy” the T-Rex staring them straight in the face—they were beyond thrilled. And the day just kept getting better and better. Dexter the monkey, miniature Indians and cowboys, lions, tigers, elephants, and so on! The icing on the cake was of course DumDum. When they walked up to this Pacific Island statue, it was as if they were meeting a true celebrity for the first time. They were star struck and it was so sweet.
After the museum, we walked across the street to Central Park and did a little bit of rock climbing. Grant was so cute—big enough to sit in the Mclaren! He’s always perfect when we go out. I don’t know what’s happening with this wonderful weather we’re having in January, but I couldn’t be happier!
