Winter break was great fun this year! The kids are growing so much.... their little personalities are blossoming and their opinions and thoughts are voiced more regularly. For instance, as winter break approached, they
knew that they wanted to go to soccer camp, that they
definitely wanted to meet up with friends at Get Air trampoline park. And they also had in mind a very certain, very large request. They wanted to go on a trip!! And we haven't been on a trip since summer time... so this request was one we honored! It was the perfect opportunity to hit the road and go visit our dearest friends (the Rustands) in Tucson. Although the drive down was brutal with Anna screaming out every few miles....the reward was awesome! A whole weekend of four wheeling, swimming, rodeo attending, and just plain good times with great friends.
It was a great weekend and a great way to end the winter break. And on the drive back home, Anna was much more calm, not nearly as much screaming took place. Blake and I decided that we are
almost there! You know.... to that place where it's not just complete and utter chaos to take your children on vacation! Anna is such a good baby and Grant is now four. Evelyn and Dane are easy as pie at this point. They are growing so much and it's so fun to plan these special events with them.
