Evelyn and Anna

Just a quick little update on my little gals.  Evelyn has taken a small step back from her gymnastics craze, as of late.  Maybe all of the extra practices and homework stretches created a little burn out! I never thought I'd see the day!  So we are taking a break over the summer and that's just fine by me!  Luckily, Evie always has about a million hobbies and interests to keep her occupied.  Most recently, at the top of the list is knitting!  She is a pro and spends most of her time during soccer practice and car rides happily knitting away.  Her proudest knitting moment must be the cute little hats she made for Scout and Olive  (baby cousins born a few weeks ago!)

Another recent interest for Evelyn is volleyball!  Great friend, Lily, and she are thrilled to be on a team this spring with Josh (Lily's dad) as coach.  He's great and the girls are having so much fun.  I have always loved volleyball so it's quite fun to attend these games and watch the girls serve it up, dig the balls and try their best to stay on their toes!  Fun to watch Evie do a sport.... and I think she likes the fact that she has actual games that the family will come watch, versus gymnastics practice which consists of mostly just a drop off routine.... barring the special performances.

And then there's our darling little Anna.  Lately her hobbies include babies, babies and more babies.  She has about a gazillion of them!  And she loves to feed them, wash them, put them to bed, take them in the car with her, kiss them and cuddle them.  It's extremely cute.
