My Soccer Stars

Spring has been a busy busy season for us with all sorts of soccer stuff going on every day of the week! Grant has loved his little team- the Blue Dragons with Coach Andrew and fun friends Jeramiah and Aidan on the team.  He is such a cutie out there on the field... playing with such passion and always with his head in the game.  I can't say enough how much I adore watching that little guy chase the ball down field and defend the goal at all costs.  He really is a great athlete and sports are such a tremendous outlet for him. So glad he has a way to exercise and feel good about himself- it's a win win!

And then Dane is equally impressive out on the field and equally as thrilled about soccer.  He's played with the same coach now for three seasons- Coach Tim.  This year they are the Gold Rush and actually, the team is quite good! Dane's played with a friend, Tenzin now for three seasons as well and they have it all worked out with passing and scoring.  So fun to watch.  Dane is so clever with his ball skills... he's always thinking ahead and executing wonderful plays.  He loves watching soccer on TV with Dad and I think that's where he gets all of these strategies and ideas for great plays!  I know Blake used to do that as a kid with basketball-- watch the pros and then put into play what he'd seen.  Like father like son! 

Now all of this may seem like a load of bragging... and certainly, I AM biased!! But I know one thing for sure, I love love love when Saturday rolls around because there is nothing more fun for this mom than watching these two blond boys of mine play soccer.
