It was such a wonderful week with the Paces in town.... as it always is! Isn't it just amazing how much children love their cousins? They really are enamored with them! Evelyn and Katie were two peas in a pod. So cute to watch them doing their nightly "face washing" and playing babies, barbies, singing, and school. A cute little team. Of course the boys loved playing sports, jumping on the tramp, boogie boarding and swimming with the older boys! Adam and Noah are such sweethearts! They didn't mind entertaining two young boys despite the age difference:) We enjoyed the beach, the pool, the water slide at 4S, watching Dane's tournament, the Lego Store and lunch out, a special girls night out for J and I to go to dinner and watch the new Planet of the Apes movie; kind of boring, but come on...it's Planet of the Apes so of course we loved it! Jamie donated her time and energy to a photo shoot! It was mid-day and the sun was EVERYWHERE ruining our shots, and I was cranky as all get out with making sure the kids didn't destroy their outfits (as I typically am on picture days). But she managed to get some great shots and we so appreciate our amazing family photographer! So lucky to have her! The week went by far too quickly before it was time to send them off. The whole summer has been like that. Time has flown by! Wish we lived closer, but are so grateful for the special summer visits we look forward to each year.
