Evelyn's Spa Birthday Party

Evelyn asked for a nails and hair party this year.... I decided to make it more of a "spa" type of atmosphere.  As we prepared the ideas and decor, food, activities,  and made the huge guest list, I promptly realized I could NOT do this alone!!!  Cue wonderful friends and kind Grandma who were willing to give up their Friday evening to man the various hair/mani-pedi stations and yoga class.  My friend Katie is fabulous when it comes to hair;  she put together a darling little portfolio of styles the girls could choose from.... it was such a hit!  Greatest babysitter on earth and dear friend Kelsey ran the pedicure station.... not easy when you are talking about 15-16 girls!  Grandma did nails and Brandy taught yoga and meditation.  It was so much fun!  I absolutely adore all of Evelyn's little friends. They are all so sweet and fun.  Having them here together made for a great night.  Food consisted of chicken salad croissants (Evelyn's fav, but not a huge hit with most girls), fruit, trail mix, and a big brownie cake.  Biggest hit was Evelyn's idea to play Bean Boozled at the end.... most of the girls had never played before and they were all very enthralled.  For her birthday, Ev received tons of Lego Friends and books and gift cards.  Good to know!  I never can decide what to get a 10 year old-- Ev's friends knew her well.  So grateful for MY friends for helping out and so happy it was a success!
