Evie's birthday was a full fledged weekend event this year! And the highlight happened the night before her actual birthday when Grandma surprised Ev with tickets to "Wicked!" Words cannot describe how excited a little girl (and her mother and grandmother) were to attend this production!
Nancy and I had seen "Wicked" in NY about 6 or 7 years ago and LOVED it. We were very excited to be able to share such a special experience with Evelyn. And before the night out, of course there was shopping and dinner. Evelyn had asked for mostly money to shop for her birthday, instead of presents (can we say teenager??) It was a blast finding cute outfits and shopping around.... although we desperately missed having Aunt Stac along to help us out! She's the pro!! The night was perfect and such an amazing beginning to a special birthday.
