The Rockin' Tale of Snow White

Evelyn worked her little buns off the past few months in preparation for "The Rockin' Tale of Snow White".  She really is such a great actress and loves the limelight (just like her mother used to!)

Leading up to the big event, I could tell Ev was feeling a bit burnt out.  There were three dress rehearsals in one week-- each 3-4 hours!!  And then the play had a Friday night show, three Saturday shows and two Sunday shows!  It was a lot for any little girl to handle.  But when the lights came on and the curtains opened (so to speak) our little ham was all smiles and animation.

Our family was so proud of Evelyn who played one of the Seven Dwarfs and the young queen.  She put her whole heart and soul into this production and it showed.  I think she made some great friends and learned a lot about theatre and hard work.  Sunday night after it was all finished, she told me she needed a break and maybe didn't want to try out for the next play.  But then Monday morning she promptly begged me to order her the Snow White costume for her birthday and then reported she had changed her mind and was all set and ready for whatever was next !  She's a hoot. Must mention that the play was that much more fun with great friend Reha Poulson on set.  They had a great time together.
