Dane was given the special opportunity to spend a weekend at Grandma and Grandpa's house to celebrate his birthday! AND..... a day at LegoLand with the family! Grandma and Grandpa gave our family a joint birthday gift of Legoland passes for the year! The best gift that we can enjoy each month together. And we hadn't been to Legoland in quite a while, so it was such a treat to explore together with Grandma and Grandpa. Evelyn, of course loved the roller coasters; Dane and Grant loved the driver's station and ball shooting arena. Anna was content to slide down the big slide a few hundred times! We had a marvelous day. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Before the LegoLand trip, Dane enjoyed being spoiled rotten by his grandparents. Chocolate covered gummy bears, pick up six, Chuck E Cheese, wii with Troy, hot tubbing, Amazon shopping sprees, tons and tons of attention and love and staying up late and playing games. He loved every minute. We are so blessed by our extended family relationships. Happy extended birthday celebration to Dane!
