Last Day of K, 3rd and 5th!

The year flew by in a blink of an eye and here we are in the middle of the summer.  I just hang on for dear life as everything moves so quickly these days.  And as difficult as it was to have little tiny babies and toddlers at home-- at least time moved slowly.  It kind of scares me to realize that an entire year is over.  These cute kids are growing up way too fast.
We had such a wonderful last day of school celebrating with friends;  swimming and slip n sliding. Loved reading the notes from the kids' teachers regarding their little personalities and academic success throughout the school year. We've had fabulous teachers:  Grant with Mrs. Valente, the kindest and most patient lady ever.  Dane with Mrs. Fagan for the 3rd year in a row... what a blessing it's been for him to be with this wonderful, kind and creative teacher.  So grateful!  Evelyn loved her teacher, Mrs. Lachel- who helped her to grow and prepare for middle school.  I'm so sad to think that the kids won't all be together anymore at the same elementary school!

 It's hard to say, but I think I like summer more than Fall or Winter.  Summer is just so amazing to have all the kids home, relaxed and with me throughout the day.  Especially this year with no naps, no diapers, and plenty of flexibility.  Hurray!!
