Grammy and Papa's visit Part II

I can't believe how time flies when you're having fun!  I really enjoyed having my parents in town during the holiday season because we were able to take them to all sorts of fun events that only occur at Christmastime.  We loved going to the temple and seeing the lights, also the local neighborhoods!  We loved attending a Christmas organ concert down at Balboa park!  If you can believe it, there is an organ concert every Sunday and yet I rarely make it because of something or other.  It was fun to take time out to go and do that and then walk around looking at all of the awesome nativity scenes. We enjoyed the farmer's market, making gingerbread house, and going out to eat at the Cheesecake Factory- first time of the kids.  I was so grateful for my parents help with ward Christmas party decorations- my dad built a wooden tree!  And my Mom sewed a music apron for me for my new calling as primary chorister.  Dane has been very into ornaments this Christmas, so he and my mom crafted a few special ornaments for his tree in his room.  His favorite was an ornament that represented Arizona.  THat's where both he and my mom were born!  Grateful to my mom for helping me assemble countless neighbor and teacher and friend gifts!  Grateful to my dad for playing countless hours of disc golf, tetherball and pool with the boys!  As previously stated, we were spoiled beyond measure.  The best part of the 2 week visit was certainly Grant's baptism.  It was heavenly to have both my parents and Blake's there to be a part of such a special day.
